Use a liquid dropper to apply the essential oil to the fabric.

Car air fresheners help keep a car from smelling musty, but they require you replace them regularly. If you are concerned about the waste you generate from throwing away commercial car air fresheners, or if you want to save money, make your own air freshener. A number of body care stores carry essential oils. Once you have made your air freshener, you can decorate it with paint, glitter or anything else to personalize it. When the air freshener starts to lose its potency, simply add a few more drops of essential oil to the fabric.
