Instructions

    • 1

Spray on heat protectant. Hair must be clean and dry prior to adding heat protectant. Spray the ends first and work your way up to mid-shaft. Don't spray the roots or hair may appear greasy.

    • 2

Comb the heat protectant through the hair. Especially tangled hair may experience some breakage during combing. To detangle and evenly distribute the heat protectant, comb the hair starting at the ends and work your way upwards towards the roots.

    • 3

Curl 1 and 1/2 inch sections of hair with the curling iron. To do this, wrap your hair around the curling iron. Wrap the hair counter-clockwise around the iron and hold for 5 seconds.

    • 4

Release the curl and coil it to the head. Make sure not to ruin the curl; follow the natural pattern of the curl, so as not to crinkle or ruin it. It should make a perfect circle with no flyaway strands.

    • 5

Pin the coil in place on the head. Repeat the curling and coiling process on the entire head.

    • 6

Wait 15 minutes for curls to cool and then release them from the pins.

    • 7

Gently apply a flexible hold mousse to the hair starting mid-shaft and gently massage into hair.

    • 8

Style with hair accessories of your choice, if desired.
