How to Format a Memory Card for an SPD-S Drum Pad
The Roland SPD-S drum pad is a great tool for any musician. The drum triggers and sample sounds can add textures and layers to a live drum kit. The percussion pad also comes with pre-programmed drum loops. The ambient and mood-creating sound effects add another dimension to a live show production. In a studio setting, the SPD-S can be plugged directly into a mixing board to be recorded. A memory card will be useful when it comes to saving the samples you've created.

Tips & Warnings
If your computer is not equipped with a card reader, you can purchase an external multi-platform reader from most electronics retail stores.
Be sure you are formatting the correct card, as this process wipes all information off the card and cannot be undone.
