How to Turn on Coordinates in AutoCAD 2000

Displaying the coordinates in AutoCAD 2000 can be a great way to get even more specific in your CAD designs. A grid will appear over your design that will allow you to make specific adjustments based on coordinates as opposed to line of sight. Displaying the coordinates (which are disabled by default) in AutoCAD 2000 is really as easy as hitting a specific keyboard button (called a "hot key") whenever you want them to appear.

Instructions

    • 1

Open the AutoCAD 2000 software on your computer using its shortcut icon. Once the software is opened, click "File" and "Open" and open a design that you've been working on. That design will display on screen.

    • 2

Locate the "F6" key on your keyboard. On most keyboards the "F6" key will be at the very top, toward the center.

    • 3

Tap the "F6" key to turn on coordinates in AutoCAD 2000.
