Instructions

    • 1

Wash the area around your ingrown hair with warm water. It is very important for the area to be as clean as possible to prevent infection or further infection.

    • 2

Use an astringent to tightened the affected pore(s). This will help push the hair out further and make it easier to access.

    • 3

Use tweezers to gently pull the hair out. Get a good grip on the hair, and then firmly pull it in the opposite direction of its growth. Once the hair has been pulled, immediately apply some hydrogen peroxide, antibacterial cream and a bandage to prevent infection.

Tips & Warnings

  • Prevent further ingrown hairs from forming by using shaving cream if the ingrown hairs often appear in areas where you shave and by moisturizing your skin regularly.
