How to Become a Scientist on "Spore"
From cell to civilization to space and beyond, the game "Spore" lets you create life and then guide its destiny. You choose how your race develops, and based on your choices your people will fall into one of 10 archetypes in the Space stage of the game. The Scientist is one possible archetype, gained by balancing your game play between aggressive and diplomatic. If you unlock the Scientist archetype, you will have access to the Gravitation Wave, which wipes out every tribe and city on a planet.
Instructions

-
1
Attack and eat other living cells during the Cell stage to become a carnivore. Avoid eating plants; instead, focus your upgrades on offensive parts for your cell such as spikes and poison sacks.
-
2
Split your time during the Creature stage between attacking and befriending other species. For every species you wipe out, make friends with another. Balance your war and peacemaking skills to become an adaptable creature.
-
-
3
Attack and destroy all neighboring tribes during the Tribal stage to gain aggressive classification. Don't attempt to form partnerships with tribes; instead, send your army from one village to another, decimating all in their path.
-
4
Buy your way into becoming a Economic civilization during the Civilization stage by avoiding direct conflict with your neighboring cultures. Send your Economic vehicles out to other cities to open trade routes. After the routes have been established, bid on the cities with Sporebucks and Spice. Obtain the city and send out additional vehicles to expand your empire.
-
5
Enter the Space stage after completing the Civilization stage to start as a Scientist archetype. You will have access to the Gravitation Wave.

Tips & Warnings
Several other combinations allow you to obtain the Scientist archetype. The rule is that you must have equal aggressive and diplomatic stages--the former displayed as red on your evolutionary chart, the latter as blue.
Click the icon in the bottom right of the game screen at any time to check your evolutionary chart.
If you end any stage with a green mark on the evolutionary chart such as being an herbivore during the Cell stage or friendly during the Tribal stage, you cannot become a scientist. Restart the stage.

Thank you for writing this article. So many people have fear when it comes to donating after death, and you've said very articulately why you should and how to do it. If nothing else, it will get people to thinking about it. -

I understand, Elizabeth. My family doesn't either which is why I gave my directives to friends and an attorney to make sure it gets done. (smile) It's probably the scientist in me.(lol) -

This is a good way to help people. But I do not believe in this. I guess it is a personal choice. -

Raynarector thanks for your testimony that somebody gave a little of themselves and it saved your life. I am also a card carrying donor. (It's actually on my driver's license and I drew up papers and gave to a friend to make sure it happens). As of September 30, 2008, there are 99,838 people on the National Transplant Waiting List. A minimum of 17 people die every day waiting for a transplant. A friend of mine lost her young child to miningitis. She donated the eyes so another child could see and it is great knowing that her daughter's tissues were able to help another child. People are under the mistaken impression that once certain parts are donated that the person will look different during the viewing. They won't look different. Nobody will ever know a organ or tissue was donated unless the family tells it. Thank you all for reading and commenting on this important topic. -
