Instructions

    • 1

Set up the camping stove in a secure area away from overhead canopies or tarps. Place the camping stove on a picnic table or sturdy table where the wind will not interfere with the flame of your burner.

    • 2

Turn on the gas and light the largest burner with a match. Turn the heat down to a medium flame.

    • 3

Pour approximately 1/2-inch of cooking oil into the frying pan and place the frying pan onto the burner to heat it.

    • 4

Open the biscuit container by peeling back the paper and twisting it to pop it open. Remove the biscuits one by one and place them into the hot oil to fry them. Continue adding as many biscuit as you can fit into the frying pan.

    • 5

Monitor the frying process, turning down the heat slightly if the oil begins to splatter. When you see the biscuits begin to brown slightly around the outer edges, flip them over with the spatula.

    • 6

Cook the biscuits on the other side until they appear a uniform golden brown on the entire outside of the biscuits. This indicates the biscuit dough is set in the center. Extinguish the camp stove flame.

    • 7

Line the serving plate with paper towel to absorb excess oil. Remove each biscuit from the frying pan and place them onto the paper towel-lined plate. Allow the biscuits to sit for two to three minutes on the paper towel and then serve them.

Tips & Warnings

  • Covering the frying pan is not necessary. Cook the biscuits in an uncovered pan for crispier biscuits.
