Instructions

    • 1

Hang your cardboard template on the plumbing wall in your bathtub, and cut out the plumbing fixture holes in the template. Your cardboard template should equal the size of your bathtub surround panel. Possibly, you have a large box you may unfold to use as your template. Once the plumbing fixtures are cut from the template, remove it from the wall.

    • 2

Tape your cardboard template onto the backside of the tub surround, and lay evenly on work surface. Follow the holes you cut from the template, and cut out the holes in your bathtub surround for your plumbing with your saw.

    • 3

Test-fit the tub surround panels according to their manufacture's suggested sequence for installation, and tape them in place around your tub. Draw lines around each panel (top, bottom and sides) with your pencil.

    • 4

Remove your panels in the reverse order that you test-fit them around your tub.

    • 5

Follow the marks you made with your pencil when you outlined each panel, and apply a large bead of tub and tile caulking to your tub rim.

    • 6

Follow the manufacture's directions for your panel adhesive, and apply it to the wall in the outlined area of the first panel. Carefully press your tub surround panel in place. Do this for each panel. Install each panel according to the manufacture's proper installation sequence for connecting and sealing the seams on the panels.
