1
Measure your poster and choose a poster frame in the same color as the dominate color of your poster. Ensure you buy the proper hooks for hanging the frame on your wall. You want strong hooks to secure the poster and ensure it doesn't fall and harm someone.
-
2
Insert the poster into the frame. Determine where you want to hang the poster. Place the poster near a piece of furniture to complement it or in a noticeable spot to create a focal point for the room. Photoxels.com suggests hanging a poster opposite a mirror to create a reflection on the other side of the room.

3
Hang the poster at or just below your eye level. Ask a friend for help determining how high to hang the poster and if the poster is straight. Use a laser level if desired to help straighten the poster.
-
4
Install the hooks according to the instructions and check that they are secure. Photoxels cautions never to hang posters above children's beds or in any location that children might bump the frame and knock it off on themselves.
-
5
Hang the poster and adjust it until it is straight. Do not hang too many posters in the same area or the room will feel cluttered. If you have several framed posters you can switch them out with others when you feel like redecorating the room. This saves you the trouble of hanging new frames.
