Tomatoes contain Vitamin C and Vitamin A, both essential for promoting healthy skin. The acidic content of tomatoes provides a cooling astringent that rids the skin of bacteria and oil. Employing tomato oil to prevent acne is a natural way to fight bad skin without breaking the bank or purchasing one of the many anti-acne products on the market--some of which contain harsh chemicals. • 2

Combine a teaspoon of lime juice with a tablespoon of tomato juice in a small bowl.

    • 3

Wet a cotton pad or cotton ball in the tomato-lime juice mixture and dab the mixture on the acne area. Allow the mixture to sit for 15 minutes.

    • 4

Gently wash the juice off with cool water and a soft washcloth.

    • 5

Mash a tomato in a bowl, creating a pulp. (Or use the pulp from the juicer.)

Apply the pulp to the acne area with a cotton pad and let sit for roughly an hour.

    • 7

Gently wash the pulp off with cool water and a soft washcloth.
