How to Get Crayon Out of a Microfiber Couch
Crayons allow children to express their creativity while passing the time. Unfortunately, a child's creativity can get a little out of hand, off the paper and onto your couch. You can remove crayon marks from your microfiber couch in the same manner as removing the marks from other types of couches. There are a few ways to remove crayon marks from a microfiber couch. Things You'll Need
- Water-displacing spray
- Mild dishwashing liquid
- Cloths
- Water
- Dry-cleaning solvent

Water-Displacing Spray Method

Apply water-displacing spray directly to the crayon mark. Allow to sit for a few minutes.

Blot the stain with a soft cloth. Apply more water-displacing spray to the stain.

Apply a few drops of a mild dishwashing liquid to the area.

Scrub the crayon marks gently with the saturated cloth until the marks are gone.

Rinse the area with a clean cloth dampened with cool water. Allow the couch to air dry.
Dry-Cleaning Solvent Method

Saturate a cloth with a dry-cleaning solvent.

Blot the crayon marks with the cloth. Continue apply the dry-cleaning solvent to the cloth and blotting the stain until it is gone.

Rinse the area by sponging with a damp cloth. Pat the couch dry.

Tips & Warnings
If a crayon has melted onto the couch, freeze it by holding an ice cube against the crayon for a few minutes. Once the crayon has hardened, scrape the crayon off the couch first and then begin one of the crayon removal processes.
