How to Create a Slide Show Using iTunes
Creating a slideshow on your Mac allows you to integrate your favorite songs with your favorite pictures. You'll need to have both iPhoto and iTunes installed. You'll create the slideshow in iPhoto, and then follow the prompts in that program to link it to a playlist in iTunes.

1
Open iPhoto. Click on "File" and select "New Album." In the pop-up menu, type a name for this new album in the window, and click "Create." Your new album will appear on the menu in the left-hand column.
-
2
Click on "Photos" at the top of the left-hand column to display all of the photos in your library. Click and drag any photos you want to include in your slide show into the new album you've created. When you're done selecting photos, click on your new album to see just those selections. Arrange the photos in any order you like by clicking and dragging them around the page.

3
While your new album is displayed, click the "Slide Show" button on the toolbar at the bottom of the page. This will create a new slide show in the left-hand column of the page, with the same name as your new album. This will also bring up a new slide show toolbar at the bottom of the page, which includes settings for special effects, timing, transition, music and the Ken Burns effect. (Ken Burns effect allows you to add motion to your images---they move around on the screen between transitions.)
-
4
Click the music icon on the slide show toolbar. From the drop-down menu select iTunes and choose either an individual track or an entire playlist. (You'll need to first create the playlist in iTunes before it shows up as an option in iPhoto.)
-
5
After you've selected the music, click on "Settings" on the slide show toolbar. Decide whether you want the slide show to repeat until the song or playlist you've chosen finishes or if you want the slide show to last only as long as your music selection. Check off the appropriate box on this menu and click "Ok."
-
6
Click "Play" on the slide show toolbar to see it all come together.
