How to Use Nero Wave Editor
Because Nero WaveEditor is packaged in the Nero suite with 15 other applications, it can be easy to overlook the program. But Nero WaveEditor is just as powerful most any audio editor you'll come across. So whether you need to edit an audio file before burning it to a CD or you need to raise the volume on song before putting on an MP3 player, the right tool for the job may be sitting right under your nose.

Launch Nero Wave Editor. Click on the folder icon, located in the top, left corner of the program, to open a audio file to edit in Wave Editor. Your audio file will appears as a waveform inside of the program.

Use the playback controls, located at the top of Wave Editor, to preview your track and cue it up to the area that you'd like to edit.

Use the scroll wheel on your mouse to zoom in and out of the waveform. And use the left mouse button to select a portion of the waveform. Left-click on the waveform and drag the mouse across it to select the portion of the song that you'd like to edit.

Select one of the options located under the "Edit" heading to "Cut," "Copy," "Paste" "Crop" or "Reverse" the selected portion of the waveform.

Click on the "Effects" tab and choose an effect, such as "Chorus," "Reverb" or "Delay," to apply to your selection. Or select and option beneath the "Tools" heading to select adjust the dynamics of your audio file, using tools such as "Time Correction" or the "Equalizer."
