At-Home Face Mask Instructions
Face masks can be found for any skin type or skin problem that you may have, but commercial face masks are often expensive and may contain harsh chemicals that will irritate the skin. Making your own face mask using inexpensive ingredients will not only reduce the cost, but will also allow you to closely monitor the ingredients you are putting on your skin. Most homemade face masks can be prepared in less than five minutes. Does this Spark an idea?
Things You'll Need
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon honey
- Egg yolk
- Small bowl
- Large bowl
- 2 egg whites
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- Mixer

Honey Face Mask

Pour 1 tablespoon each of olive oil and honey into a small bowl. Fill a larger container with hot water and place the smaller container in the water to warm the honey and oil slightly.

Add 1 egg yolk to the honey and oil mixture and blend the ingredients.

Apply the mixture to your face and neck using an upward motion, and let it dry for 10 to 20 minutes.

Rinse the mask off with warm water until all traces of it are gone. Pat skin dry with a towel--do not rub the skin.
Egg White Lemon Face Mask

Separate two eggs, and place the whites in a bowl.

Add 1 teaspoon of lemon juice to the egg whites.

Beat with a mixer or whisk until the egg whites are fluffy. Apply the mixture to your face and leave it on for 10 to 20 minutes. Rinse it off completely with warm water.

Tips & Warnings
Be careful when applying the mask not to get it too close to your eyes.
