How to Read & View Adobe Reader Files Online

Adobe Reader allows you to read a document that is saved as a Portable Document Format file, also known as a PDF file. Adobe Reader is a software program that is offered for free by Adobe Systems Incorporated and you can download the program from Adobe's website. Many documents are available to be viewed on the Internet as PDF files which allows them to be viewed by any computer that has Adobe Reader installed, regardless of whether it is a personal computer or an Apple computer.

Instructions

1. Download Adobe Reader. Navigate to the Adobe website and download the most recent version of Adobe Reader.

2. Install Adobe Reader. After you have downloaded Adobe Reader, you will be prompted to install the Adobe Reader program. Follow prompts that direct you through the installation process.

3. Locate a PDF document that you wish to view on the Internet. PDF documents on the Internet are usually marked as PDF documents by the Adobe Reader icon or by a designation such as: [PDF].

4. Click the document. Once you click the PDF document, it will either open in a new tab or in a new Internet browser window. From here, you can read and view the file online.
