How to Attach an HTML File to an Email thumbnail
Sending an email with an HTML file is simple.

It is possible to look at websites when you are not connected to the Internet. This is done by saving a website to your computer as a document file - the HTML file. However, any changes or updates that have been made to the website since you saved it as an HTML file will not show up when you open the file offline. It is also possible to email an HTML file so that you do not have include a link in an email message when you want to share a website with a friend or coworker.

Instructions

    • 1

Enter your email account and choose the option to compose a new email message.

    • 2

Fill in the subject line, the address line (with as many recipients as you are going to be emailing), and your personal note in the body of the email message.

    • 3

Choose the option to "attach." This will cause a window to pop up on your computer screen. Use this search window to find the HTML file that you want to send using email. Hit enter or click 'OK' to attach the file. You can then hit the 'Send' button. Your email, complete with an HTML file, will then be sent to your intended recipient or recipients. The attachment can be opened or viewed with any text editor or web browser.
