How to Run PS2 DVD-ROM Games on a PC
The Sony PlayStation 2 was the most popular and possibly the best gaming console of the previous generation. However, the system faced its fair share of technical problems, including laser lenses that would fail, leaving the system useless. Through PS2 emulators, you can extend the life of your PS2 library by playing those games on your PC.

Download and install a PS2 emulator. Some of the more popular include PCSX2, Neutrino SX2 and PS2emu (see the first Reference below for links to all three emulators).

Run your PS2 emulator and configure the video and sounds settings to optimize the performance for your computer. You may have to experiment with the settings to determine which works best with your machine.

Insert the game disc and play it through the emulation software.

Check the game compatibility for your chosen emulation software, as not all games may be supported, and some games may include limited support.
