Instructions

    • 1

Become familiar with the serger machine front. The White serger has color-coded and labeled tension guides and thread loops for each spool of thread. You must thread each spool for a standard overlock stitch.

    • 2

Open the door located on the lower right of the machine's front to reveal the inside thread guides and the color-coded threading guide in the door.

    • 3

Swing open the other door located on the lower left of the machine to reveal the loopers. All hooks and guides are color-coded.

    • 4

Place the thread spools over the spool spikes on the top of the machine. Pull the thread from back to front through the metal thread holder for each spool. Thread the spools one at a time.

    • 5

Thread the machine from right to the left. Thread the upper looper first, the lower looper second, the right needle third and the left needle last.

    • 6

Follow the color-coded thread guides for each spool of thread. Thread the needles last.

    • 7

Close both doors on the front of the machine. Set the desired tension for your stitch. Test your stitch on a scrap of fabric to ensure the machine is properly threaded.

Tips & Warnings

  • Always thread the machine in the correct order.

  • Be sure the needle threads are on top of the looper threads when finished.

  • Turn off your serger before threading.
