1
Wash your hair and let it air dry until it is just damp. Apply heat-protecting spray all through your hair and blow dry it straight by brushing it from underneath while you blow dry. If your hair is already straight but thin, flip it over while you blow dry to get more volume.

2
Part your hair down the middle or make a slight side part. Heat up a medium-width curling iron and wrap 2 inch sections around it, starting from the middle and going down to the ends. Hold the curling iron there for about five seconds, pull downward gently and release. Alternate widths between 2-inch, 1-inch and 1/2-inch curled sections to make it look more natural.

Scrunch your waves gently with your hands after you've done all of your hair and spray in some hair spray to get the waves to hold. You can also rub some mousse in your hands before you scrunch.

4
Rub dime-sized bit of mousse on your fingers and rub it gently onto your roots to give them more lift and bounce. Scrunch gently on the top of your head with mousse as well. Smooth out any excess frizz, but since this is boho hair, you can allow for a little frizz.
