How to Put On Your Canadian Army Cadet Beret Badge
The Canadian Army Cadet beret badge is an affiliation badge signifying that the cadet is a member of the Royal Canadian Armoured Corps. The badges have a maple leaf insignia and the motto "Acer Acerpori," which means "As the maple, so the sapling."

Line up the badge with the rivet on the beret, positioned over the left eye.

Slide the post on the back of the badge through the rivet.

Bend the post to secure the badge.

Tips & Warnings
All new cadet berets will have badges attached during the manufacturing process, so cadets will no longer have to attach their own.
