Thanks to technology, you now have another option. You can send money from the comfort of home using a computer. All you need is a valid credit card and information about the recipient.

Visit a website that allows you to send money, such as Western Union, MoneyGram, ATM Cash or Ikobo.

Click the "Sign Up" or "Register" link to create a user account.

Log into your account with the username and password created during the registration process.

Select the option to "Send Money Online."

Enter the name and address of the "Receiver."

Select the type of delivery--same day, overnight or economy. If you choose the "Same Day"option, the receiver will be able to pick up the money within minutes. If you choose the "Overnight" method a loaded money card will be overnighted to the receiver. If you choose "Economy," the receiver can pick up the money within 72 hours

Enter your credit card information. Click the option to "Submit" or "Send." The exact wording will vary by site.

Write down the confirmation number that is generated.

Alert the receiver that his money is on the way. You can provide the receiver with the confirmation number for tracking purposes.
