How to Connect a CanoScan Fb620p Scanner to a Computer

The CanoScan FB 620P flatbed scanner allows you to scan high-quality color documents and pictures. The scanner is small and user-friendly with an easy setup to your computer or printer. Before you set up your scanner, you must find a safe place to store it near your computer or printer. You can use the parallel cable to connect the scanner to your printer. You will then be able to install the scanner software on your computer.

Instructions

1. Shut down your computer and turn it off before connecting the CanoScan FB 620P scanner to your computer.

2. Disconnect the power cord from the back of your scanner and unplug the AC adapter end of the power connector from an electrical outlet.

3. Connect one end of the parallel cable to the PC port on the back of the scanner.

4. Connect the other end of the parallel cable to the parallel port located on the back of your computer.

5. Reconnect the power cord and AC adapter, and then press the "ON" button on the scanner. You can now install the software on your computer.
