Homemade Ways to Make a Water Hose Hook
While there are water hose hooks that you attach to your home, deck or patio, they may not always be convenient to the garden area you need to water. Tips & Warnings
For short lengths of hose less than 50 feet, a 1-inch pipe should be able to hold the hose well. For hoses longer than 50 feet, a 2-inch pipe is recommended.
If you are worried about the hose slipping off the hook, attach a second elbow joint to the free end of the 1-foot pipe followed by a short piece of pipe.
Plant low-maintenance plants around the base of your pipe to dress up that area of the yard or garden.
