Making Tanning Bed Lotion
If you're using a tanning bed to get that sun-kissed glow, then you should be using a quality tanning bed lotion made from all natural ingredients to prevent dry skin, protect against aging and ensure that you get the best color possible. While it's easy to buy tanning bed lotions in stores, they can be full of unpronounceable chemicals with unknown side effects. Things You'll Need
- Blender
- Spatula
- 2/3 cup lanolin
- 4 tablespoons coconut oil
- 8 tablespoons tea tree oil
- 8 drops scented essential oil of your choice
- Resealable container

Put the coconut oil, the tea tree oil, the lanolin and the scented extract into a blender. You should be able to purchase all of these products at drug stores or natural food stores.

Blend the ingredients together on a low speed until they've completely combined.

Use a spatula to scoop the mixture out of the blender and into your container, being careful to avoid the blades.

Store the mixture in the refrigerator when it is not in use. Make a new mix each week.

Tips & Warnings
You will not get protection from the rays in the tanning bed with this tanning bed lotion. To get UV protection, use a sunblock.
