How to Find Out Someone's Email Through a MySpace Account

Find someone's email address at her MySpace page.

MySpace is a social networking site where users can create webpages that list information about themselves. They can add pictures, write blogs and add lists of favorite music, books or activities. Users also make friends on MySpace and add those friends to their buddy lists. Once a user is your "friend," you can look at his site and learn more about him. You can choose to contact someone through his MySpace account, too. If he chooses to display his regular email address, you can easily find that as well.

Instructions

1. Log on to your MySpace account. Navigate to someone's MySpace page. If the person is not already in your friends list, click "Send friend request" to request that she become your friend. Depending on her privacy settings, you'll need to become her friend to see her personal information. If you can see personal information on her site even if you aren't her friend, you might not need to request her as a friend to find her email address.

2. Click "Send Message" to send an email to the person. You can contact someone directly through MySpace, from your account to his. This is an email service, so if you only need to contact him, you might not need to find another email address. Send him an email through MySpace if you would like to contact him.

3. Scroll through the person's MySpace profile. Under "Information," you will see a list of things such as her address, her phone number and her email address, if she chose to display it. If you don't see her email address listed, it means she chose not to display it. You can use the "Send message" link to write to her and ask what her regular email address is, or just go on contacting her through MySpace.

Tips & Warnings

• If a user chooses not to display his email address on MySpace, you won't be able to find it. But, you can still contact him on the site.
