How to Change an FLV File to an MP4
Flash files (FLV) are designed to be viewed online so they are not compatible with media players like an iPod or Zune once they have been downloaded. You can convert an FLV file to an MP4 file, which is compatible with media players, by using an FLV media conversion program. There are a number of these programs available for Mac and PCs that can be downloaded at no cost and which operate in a similar manner to one another. The original FLV file will not be altered or damaged by the conversion, as a copy of the file will be made in the MP4 format.
