Removal of Ear Cerumen
Ear cerumen, also known as ear wax, naturally prevents small contaminants such as dirt and hair from entering your ear canal. Over time, however, the cerumen builds up and may pose a threat to your hearing. Regularly remove this buildup of ear cerumen to ensure proper health of your ears.

Mix one part peroxide with one part water in a small bowl.

Lie down on your side with the affected ear pointing directly upwards.

Pull the outer earlobe upwards and back to completely expose the interior of the ear.

Fill up a baby ball syringe with the peroxide and water mixture, then gently drip the contents into your ear.

Remain in a prone position and allow the peroxide and water to stay in your ear for about five minutes.

Lean over a sink to clear out the water and peroxide mixture, then use the bulb to squirt in a few applications of water. The loosened cerumen will flow out with the clean water.

Tips & Warnings
Do not use cotton swabs or other objects to remove cerumen from your ears. These objects may puncture your eardrum or otherwise damage your ears.
