How to Make Body Mist Last Longer

How to Make Body Mist Last Longer thumbnail
Make body mist last longer after you apply it.

A common complaint among women is the speed with which body mists disappear on the skin after spraying them. Because of the chemical composition of body mists, they evaporate quickly on the skin, often leaving you without any remaining scent even a short time after application. Make body mist last longer on your skin by preparing your skin properly before you spray. When you make sure your skin is ready to receive and hold the spray, the scent of the body mist will last longer throughout the day. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

    • 1

Prepare to apply the body mist to yourself immediately after towel drying off after a bath or shower. When you apply body mist at this time, your pores are open and they will retain the scent for a longer time.

    • 2

Slather either an unscented lotion or a lotion with the same scent as your body mist liberally over your body where you will apply the body spray. Pay special attention to pulse points (the throat, the wrists, inside the elbows, behind your knees and between the breasts).

    • 3

Spray the body mist toward yourself from a distance of approximately 1 foot, directing it toward the areas of your body where you applied the lotion. After you spray the body mist, step into the mist in the air to allow the body mist to cover your skin completely. Repeat this spraying technique until you apply the body mist to all the desired areas of your body.

    • 4

Allow the body mist to dry completely before you dress.

    • 5

Spray the body mist lightly onto a brush and brush the body mist through your hair to infuse a light scent to your hair.

    • 6

Saturate a cotton ball with body mist and tuck it into your bra. The cotton ball will stay filled with the scents of the body mist and will project the scent out from you throughout the day.
