The Logitech corporation manufactures a line of popular computer webcams that allow for basic point-and-shoot functionality. What you may not have known is that it's possible to adjust the various settings on these cameras, including shutter speed. This means you can adjust the exposure on the camera so that the image on screen speeds up or slows down depending on the setting. The best part about this is that there is very little technical knowledge needed, and the entire process takes less than a minute.

Turn on your computer and wait for the flash (logo) screen to give way to the main menu. Then open the QuickCapture program from your computer's desktop. This is the webcam user program and it will either be an icon on your desktop or listed in the "Programs" section of your computer.

Select the "Shutter Speed" tab in the main menu screen of QuickCapture. A list of various shutter speeds will appear in a new window.

Scroll through the list of shutter speeds until you come to the one you find appropriate. These shutter speeds range from 1/1000 of a second to 1/5 of a second.

Select the shutter speed and confirm when prompted. The shutter speed will be set and you can now close out of QuickCapture.
