How to Get Iranian TV

If you want to watch TV programs from Iran but the thought of traveling 7,000 miles, crossing international borders and being in a country with many cultural differences discourages you, don't despair. Turn on your computer and watch Iranian television from the comfort of your own home via the Internet. There are many websites that broadcast television programing from the country of Iran in the Persian language (Farsi) and a popular Iranian website that broadcasts in English. So kick back, put up some Persian stew and watch Iranian television from your computer.

Instructions

1. Access the PressTV website (see resources). This site lets you watch live television broadcasting from Iran.

2. Click "Watch Live" in the upper right portion of the PressTV web page.

3. Choose the data transfer speed. Click on one of the three choices. Click "300 Kbps" for slower network connections and click on "Broadband 500 Kbps" for faster connections, such as high-speed cable. You can also choose "Flash."

4. A media player will open up that plays the live video feed from Iran in the English language. View Iranian television.
