Internet banking offers you the convenience of being able to bank online from wherever you have an Internet connection without having to work around bank operation hours or stand in long lines.

  1. Bank Online

      Go online and navigate to the standard bank at which you wish to register for Internet banking. Locate the link the that says "Sign/Join Up Now."

      Select whether you want to use your checking, savings or money mark account number, your ATM/debit card number or your credit number to sign up with. Then click the option to continue.

      Input your Social Security number into the SSN text box when you are prompted. Then input your checking, savings or money market account routing and checking numbers into the offered text boxes. If you use your ATM/debit card, input your card number, expiration date and verification code (located on the back of the card as the last three numbers) into the offered text boxes. If you use your credit card, repeat the steps for the ATM/debit card.

      Click the option to continue and input your ATM/debit card PIN number into the ATM/debit PIN number text box. Then submit the application to process your request. Your request will be accepted if you put in all information correctly, and you will receive a confirmation email.

Tips & Warnings

  • Some Internet banking systems require you to click on the activation link in the confirmation email, whereas others do not require an activation link.

  • Beware of attempting to falsify information or access someone else's account because it's a crime and you could be prosecuted.
