How to Clear the Search History on a Mac

Each Internet browser keeps a history of sites you have accessed, downloads you have made and searches you have made. Whenever you search something on Google, Yahoo! or other search engines, it will be logged in the search history for your browser. Other information such as form data is sometimes stored with search history as well. Clearing the search history on your Mac is specific to the Internet browser you use rather than the operating system.
