How to Fix a Bluetooth on a Dell D520

The Dell D520 laptop ships with the Windows XP operating system, which means that its Bluetooth connectivity is built directly into the operating system. Repairing Bluetooth on your computer is necessary after system changes have rendered the Bluetooth operating system files corrupt or inactive. Fix this by using the System Restore utility to undo these changes and repair your Bluetooth functionality.

Instructions

1. Click "Start," "Programs," "Accessories," "System Tools" and open "System Restore."

2. Click "Restore your computer."

3. Select a restore point prior to the time your Bluetooth began having issues.

4. Press "Next." Your D520 will automatically reboot, reloading the old, working system configuration, repairing your Bluetooth connection.
