How to Use an Intex Pool Hose Vacuum

Assemble the vacuum hose by inserting each end into the other. Attach the vacuum head to the last piece of hose by inserting the hose into the left side valve on the vacuum head.

Insert the pole into the middle hole on the vacuum head. Hold the two plastic spring tips together and slide the pole into the head. Tie the debris bag around the right side valve located on the vacuum head.

Screw the garden hose into the garden hose valve. This valve has a small, screw-type mechanism that will only fit a regular garden hose.

Turn on the water supply at the hose spigot. The pressure will cause the vacuum to suck up dirt and debris. Guide the vacuum in a slow, sweeping motion across the pool floor.

Continue this process until the pool liner is clean. Turn the water off at the spigot. Remove the vacuum from the pool, and empty the dirt bag.
