How do I Use a Panasonic SDR-H60 Camcorder to Burn DVDs?
The Panasonic SDR-H60 is a SD Card/Hard Disk Camcorder. Its design features a Burn Disc option that allows users to burn data recorded on the camcorder's SD Card or HDD to a new DVD-RAM/DVD-RW/DVD-R/DVD-RDL or CD-RW/CD-R disc via an external SDR-H60 Camcorder-compatible DVD burner. Once you've connected a compatible burner and inserted a disc, burning the data to the disc requires little effort beyond selecting your recording options via menus on the camcorder and waiting for the data to copy to the disc.

Plug your Panasonic SDR-H60 Camcorder into an electrical socket via its AC adapter. Plug the external SDR-H60-compatible DVD burner into another socket.

Turn on the camcorder and the burner.

Connect the mini AB USB cable to your camcorder and the burner--"A" plug to the camcorder and "B" plug to the burner.

Insert a new, blank disc into the burner.

Select "Burn Disc" on your camcorder's screen with the joystick. Select the source from where you're retrieving the data: "HDD" or "SD Card" and then "Video" > "DVD Copy" > or "Favorite Scenes" from the options.

Choose additional options within the type of copy you want to make: "All Scenes" or "Added Scenes" under "DVD Copy" or "Select Scenes," "Select Date" or "Select Playlist" under "Favorite Scenes." If you selected the "Favorite Scenes" > "Select Scenes" option, highlight the first scene you want to burn to the disc. Select it by pushing in on the joystick then continue to select additional scenes as desired. If you selected the "Favorite Scenes" > "Select Date" or "Select Playlist" option, highlight the first date or playlist. Select it by pushing in on the joystick then select data from additional dates or playlists as desired.

Confirm that you want to burn a disc by selecting "Yes" when the "Burn Disc?" message appears on the screen. If you're using the "Favorite Scenes" > "Select Scenes" option, the message won't appear until you confirm the scene selections by selecting "Start" then pushing in the joystick. If you're using the "Favorite Scenes" > "Select Date" or "Select Playlist" option, the message won't appear until you confirm the date(s) and playlist(s) by pressing the "Menu" button, selecting "Yes" and pushing in on the joystick.

Push the joystick in again after a message appears that confirms that you've successfully copied the data to a disc then eject the disc to use elsewhere. If you're burning to more than one disc, remove the old disc from the burner when prompted, insert a new disc then follow the on-screen prompts to continue burning the data.

Tips & Warnings
Panasonic recommends using the Panasonic VW-BN1 DVD Burner, which is designed for use with the SDR-H60 Camcorder.
CD-RW/CD-R discs only support still picture recording. DVD-RW only supports motion picture recording.
Never attempt burning to a used disc.
Always use the AC adapter to power your camcorder rather than the battery pack when burning to discs. A weak battery may disrupt the burning process.
