How to Transfer High School Credits
The courses a student takes in high school accumulate into the required credits necessary for graduation. If the student changes high schools or decides to move from a private to a public school, transferring credits makes the enrollment process easier. Transferring high school credits eliminates the worry of losing credits or starting over.

Call the new school and ask questions about transferring. Most schools have a clear-cut procedure for transfers. They will tell you what is required to complete the necessary paperwork. Typically, the administration office handles everything and creates a smooth transition for the student.

2
Fill out the application for enrollment. Have the needed information regarding eligibility for enrollment and credit hours to be transferred from the previous school. Again, the office usually handles the details, but there will be paperwork for parents or guardians to fill out.

Send the transcript to the new school. The high school transcript contains details of courses taken, credit hours earned and grades received. Credit for every course passed generally is transferable.
