How to Get the Viking Helmet for "Club Penguin"
Viking Helmets are hidden items that can be found in the monthly Penguin Style catalog in "Club Penguin." There are two Viking Helmets that are available in every Penguin Style catalog: the Red Viking Helmet and Blue Viking Helmet. The rarer Gold Viking Helmet can only be found in one Penguin Style catalog a year. The location of these hidden items varies each month, but the same steps are used to actually unlock each color Viking Helmet.

Enter the Gift Shop in "Club Penguin." It is the building on the right when a player first logs in to the game.

Open the Penguin Style catalog. It is on the floor in the bottom-right corner of the screen inside the Gift Shop.

Click items in the background of each page of the catalog. Opening one of these items will open the window to purchase the Red Viking Helmet for 750 coins. This has to be found by trial and error because the item and page is different in each catalog. For example, the Red Viking Helmet was found by clicking a tea cup on page 14 of the May 2010 Penguin Style catalog.

Click the "Close" button on the Red Viking Helmet purchase window.

Reopen and close the Red Viking Helmet purchase window again. The Blue Viking Helmet purchase window will appear instead of the Red Viking Helmet the fourth time it is opened. The Blue Viking Helmet costs 1,200 coins.

Close the Blue Viking Helmet purchase window.

Click a piece of clothing in the catalog. The Gold Viking Helmet purchase window will appear if it is available and you select the correct piece of clothing. It will cost 1,500 coins. You must reopen and close the Blue Viking Helmet window if you select the wrong piece of clothing. The reason this hidden item is so rare is because most players do not want to repeat these steps to check every piece of clothing in the catalog for a hidden item that is usually not even available.

Tips & Warnings
"Club Penguin" occasionally releases other color Viking Helmets, available only for short time. These are not hidden items, but promotional items for other areas in the game. These are obtained by looking in the correct catalog, such as Rockhopper's Rare Items, during the promotion period.
The Viking Helmets are not the only hidden items that can be found in the Penguin Style catalog each month.
