      Open Windows Media Player. Click "Start," then select "All Programs." Windows Media Player appears on the Programs menu toward the end, on the right-hand side.

      Click on the "Burn" tab. Select "data disc" from the available options. Older CD players won't play an MP3 data disc, but newer CD players will be able to handle it.

      Drag and drop your MP3 files from any folder on your computer into the "Burn List" section on the right, under the "Burn" tab. Insert your CD into your CD RW drive.

      Click "Start Burn."
