How Do I Pull Up Recent Searches?
The Internet has become an invaluable resource for research. But Web browsing can take you to places far afield from where you intended. And it can be difficult remembering a useful or interesting website if you forgot to write it down at the time or forgot to mark it as a favorite in your browser. Perhaps you simply want to review a website from earlier in the day to have a second look. Fortunately, your browser keeps a record of where you've been in cyberspace.

Tips & Warnings
Look out for previous visits to search engine pages to bring up your specific searches.
The "history" command ("Ctrl" plus "H") works for Internet Explorer and Firefox. It may not for other browsers.
When you click on a previously visited page from the history, the current page you are looking at will be used to access the history page. Open a new window and access your history if you don't want that to happen.
How far back your history goes depends on its settings and whether it was cleared recently.
