How to Locate a Doctor at Wilford Hall Medical Center

Wilford Hall Medical Center is the largest Air Force medical facility treating military personnel and dependents, training medical and dental practitioners and conducting medical trials for research and advancement. The Wilford Hall Medical Center is located at Lackland Air Force Base in Texas. Because this is a training facility, finding a doctor you have worked with in the past may be difficult, as the doctor may have moved to a new facility.

1. Call the hospital information line to locate a doctor you have worked with or have been referred to. The information line is 210-916-4141. Provide the operator with the doctor's full name and department if you have it.

2. Go to the San Antonio Military Medical Center website and conduct a department directory search. Look for the department or clinic that pertains to your needs and locate an available physician's information.

3. Schedule an appointment with a Primary Care Manager at 210-916-9900 to be referred to a specialist after having an initial examination. It may take as long as 28 days to get a non-emergency appointment.
