How to Create a Flash Logo With Dreamweaver
Macromedia Flash uses vector graphics to create animated logos, banners and movies. Adobe's Dreamweaver allows you to create to create Flash text objects and buttons that you can integrate easily into a web page, without having to use two separate programs to complete the task. Not only will this save time on your project, but it will allow you to customize the Flash object to your web page, instead of altering your object in flash and having to import it into Dreamweaver.

Creating Flash Text in Dreamweaver

Select "Insert" from the document window menu bar. Scroll down and select "Interactive Images," and "Flash Text." The Flash text logo box should appear.

Choose your desired font, font size, text color and text background color. Type your desired words in the text box. To preview the text, hit "Apply." If you are satisfied with the design, press "OK."

Click out of the dialog box to resize the text. Double click the text, and resize using the handles.
Creating a Flash Object in Dreamweaver

Go to the document window menu bar to create the object for your logo: select "Insert," then "Interactive Images," then "Flash Button." Browse through the available options, or you can import your desired shape or a logo that you have previously created by clicking on "Get More Styles."

Use "Property Inspector" to change the color and look of your button. Resize your shape by selecting "OK" in the dialog box. Select your shape in Dreamweaver and resize the object by dragging the handles on it.

Save your work by clicking on "Save As" in the File window on the menu bar.
