Choose an online greeting card company. There are hundreds of them on the Internet (see a few listed in References). Most are free, but some may charge per card or for premium designs.

Choose "Create greeting cards" from the list of options on the site.

Scroll through the greeting card templates. They are usually sorted by event or recipient, such as birthdays, holidays, family members or lovers. Search through the templates until you find one you like. Some sites have different standard designs and text you can choose from, while others have a generator where you can change design options and write your own sayings. Customize the cards as you would like.

Click on the "Finished" or "Done" button when you have finished your card. Save it to the hard drive of your computer and print it out to send in the mail.
