How to Use a Craftsman Wet-Dry Vacuum

The Craftsman wet-dry vacuum is capable of three different functions. It can vacuum both wet and dry materials, and it also comes with a detachable blower attachment that can be used to clear dust and debris inside or outside. Wet and dry materials should never be vacuumed at the same time, and the vacuum filter should always be removed before vacuuming wet materials. Always follow all safety guidelines when using the Craftsman vacuum. Does this Spark an idea?

Attach the nozzle attachment to the extension hose connected to the vacuum. Plug the vacuum in and turn it on.

    • 6

Detach the blower attachment from the top of the vacuum by pressing the release latch located under the handle of the blower.

    • 8

Insert the blowing wand into the blower attachment. Place the adapter over the end of the blowing wand. Attach the blower nozzle to the end of the adapter.

    • 9

Plug the blower cord into the wall. Turn the blower on.

    • 10

Blow debris, leaves, dirt and even water by pointing the blower about 12 to 18 inches away from the material. Blow into the street, or into a pile that you can gather later.
