Drop Earrings

Place a crimp right on the bottom of a piece of wire, and press it closed with the crimping pliers. Thread on a drop bead to the wire, letting in sit on the crimp.

3
Thread on another crimp at the top of the bead. Thread the jewelry wire through the hoop on the bottom of an earring hook, make it loop over the hoop, and then thread the end back through the crimp. Press the crimp closed, securing the wire to the end of the earring hook.
-
4
Cut off the excess wire at the top of the crimp, then repeat with the other bead and hook to make the second pair of earrings.

Cut six strands of wire, a pair 2 1/2 inch, a pair 2 inch and a pair 1 1/2 inch.

Crimp the bottom of each piece of wire, and thread on beads as desired. Divide the strands so that there is one of each length in two piles.

Attach the strands from one pile to the hoop at the bottom on the earring hook, threading on a crimp, then looping the wire through the hoop and back into the crimp to secure it. Repeat with remaining hoop and beaded strands.
Loop Earrings

8
Cut two strands of 4-inch wire. Thread on your beads as desired, noting that the bead in the middle, will be at the bottom of the loop.
-
9
Bring the ends of the strand together to form a loop, then pass the ends through the back of a crimp cover, pushing the crimp cover down so that it is taught against the beaded loop.
-
10
Slide a crimp into the mouth of the crimp cover and press it closed with the crimping pliers, securing the loop. Cut off any excess wire, then close the mouth of the crimp cover.
