Throw a pass to a place in the water where your teammate is swimming toward. If you've done it right, the player won't have to alter his or her stroke to start swimming with the ball.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Determine where you want your pass to go. If you are passing to a teammate who is swimming, make sure you lead your target by a couple of feet.

  2. Step 2

Aim just over an arm's length away from your target. Account for the fact that the ball takes a small bounce when it hits the water.

  3. Step 3

Make sure no defenders are closer to your target than your teammate.

  4. Step 4

Throw the ball in an arcing pass, so that it lands in the water with minimum bouncing.

Tips & Warnings
  • A wet pass to a swimming player should land so that the player does not have to alter his or her course in order to be swimming with the ball when the pass lands.
  • All passes to the hole should be wet. These passes need to be exact, because the hole is usually surrounded by defense. A good wet pass sets your hole player up for a good shot.
  • If you have any condition that would impair or limit your ability to engage in physical activity, please consult a physician before attempting this activity.
