How to Add Email to Mailing Lists
Most websites on the Internet these days have a newsletter service to send subscribers news and product-launch announcements. Once you have submitted your email address to the website, it will send an email to the email address you submitted, along with a confirmation link to verify that you are the rightful owner of that email address. Once you confirm the email address by clicking on the confirmation link, your email address will be added to that website's mailing list.

Visit the website whose mailing list you want to add your email address to, and then click the "Subscribe to Newsletters" link. (The exact wording will vary.)

Type your email address on the "Subscribe to Newsletters" page that opens, and then click the "Confirm" button.

Log in to your email account, and you will find a message from the website. Open the email. If there is no such email from that website, wait a while, and then refresh your inbox. It will come.

Click on the confirmation link in the email. This will confirm your subscription and add your email address to the website's mailing list.
