How to Clean the Drain of an American Standard Bathroom Sink
Whichever style of American Standard sink is in your bathroom, the drain may become clogged up from time to time. You may also, at times, notice a foul odor in and around the bathroom sink drain. Remove everything from the American Standard bathroom sink.

Pour 1/2 cup baking soda down the American Standard bathroom sink drain.

Heat 1 cup of white vinegar in a microwave or on the stove. Do not heat the vinegar to a boil.

Pour the heated vinegar down the sink drain.

Flush the American Standard bathroom sink drain with hot water from the faucet of the sink for approximately 30 seconds.

Repeat the process if your American Standard bathroom sink drain remains clogged or you still notice a foul odor around the sink drain.
