They can be purchased online, which offers a number of advantages over purchasing at a store: depending on the state, you do not need to pay a sales tax; there are generally a number of special offers; and customer feedback is readily available online.

Instructions

1. Choose an online stove-selling website from which to purchase your stove. Harmanstoves.com, lopistoves.com, and nevelsstoves.com sell wood pellet stoves, though there are several more to choose from.

2. Check for deals and discounts when making your decision. A 10% discount is not uncommon, and most online stove retailers offer free shipping.

3. Locate the wood pellet stoves on your chosen site; if you cannot find one, simply search "wood pellet stoves" at the top of the page (most retail sites have search features at the top of their page). Online retail sites generally have the same format: You can see a list of their products in a "thumbnail view," where a picture is displayed with a price. Click the picture of the stove you want, which links to a description and further information.

4. Click the button which allows you to buy the stove (it is different site-by-site). You will have to enter credit card or PayPal identification to make the purchase.
