Instructions

    • 1

Apply foundation to your entire face, including the eye area. Do not get makeup in your eyes. To fight smudging, use a mineral powder foundation with a kabuki brush. Apply foundation to the eye area, too. If you use cream to powder makeup or liquid makeup then set your makeup with a pressed powder, especially around the eyes.Cream to powder makeup goes on damp then dries to a matte powder. Use a mirror to guide your makeup application.

    • 2

Curl your eye lashes with an eye lash curler. Apply your eye shadow and eyeliner to both eyes.

    • 3

Select waterproof mascara in the color you like. Open the tube of mascara and use the tip of the wand to make lashes look longer. Touch the lashes lightly with the brush. Do this for both eyes top and bottom.

    • 4

Clip a small square of tissue paper from a larger piece. Make the square about two inches square. Alternatively, you could buy small makeup blotting tissues.

    • 5

Lay the tissue under your bottom eyelashes. Lay your brush parallel to your lashes and brush down on them several times.

    • 6

Reapply mascara to the wand by dipping the wand back into the tube.
