How to Get a Content Advisor Off a Computer

Content Advisor is an Internet filtering tool that comes preinstalled on Internet Explorer. It allows you to block content that you deem unfit for computer users to have access to on your computer. As the administrator, you can get Content Advisor off your computer by disabling it if you want to have access to some of the websites the filtering tool is blocking.

Instructions

      Launch Internet Explorer and click the "Tools" menu on the top of your browser window. Scroll down the pop-up menu and click "Properties" to launch the browser Properties dialog box.

      Click the "Content" tab. Click the "Disable" button under "Content Advisor." Type your administrator password and click "OK" to disable the Internet filtering tool.

      Click "OK" to save the changes and close the browser Properties dialog box.
